Liminal Voices

Liminal Voices is a small choir that sings for people at end of life. The group was established with initial funding through the Dying to Know Day grants program, administered by Proveda, and brings live music directly to people in their final weeks and days.

The choir operates as a self-sustaining collective with its own membership and culture. I serve as musical director, providing musical leadership and repertoire, but the group carries the work forward together. Members develop a shared practice and sustain ongoing relationships with each other and with the communities they sing for.

Membership is by invitation. If you are interested in joining, please get in touch and we can talk about whether it is the right fit. Palliative care workers, hospices, and health professionals interested in this work or in how a similar model might serve their community are also welcome to make contact.
